Nope. Just hit the button and they're disabled. :) Not sure if you can do that as easily in the newest generation, though. :/

Hello Allen, I have on mine is Icon compression 18X9" satin black w/-12mm offset. But I then had them power coated to semi gloss black. It is because my LX is inspiration serries. Thank you for watching my video.

How have you mounted the tent to the factory roof rack?

Hello, I only used the base, modified the new bar, and raised it up so I could fit the two maxtrax under the rooftop tent. The original bar is not going to be strong enough for the uplift and down lift force for the tent I have while you are driving, so do not use it.
