The SWF crews should have won something like “Hot Trend of The Year” because even though this is the music award and they’re just dance crews, but don’t forget that some of them are the choreographers, and they made a huge contribution to the artists’ choreography. They deserved to win something too. Moreover, this is Mnet’s award show. It doesn’t hurt just to give recognitions to their casts in successful program like Street Woman Fighters.

And you know what, I literally screamed when Leejung of YGX won the Choreographer of the Year award. SWF fans that I follow on Twitter also celebrated how aespa won the Best Dance Performance Award due to the fact that the choreographers/dancers who took part in Next Level were also there. Our girls Rozalin and Moana of WANT, Yeojin of YGX, the Lachica trio, Kayday of PROWDMON, and Leesu of WAYB. This is literally their era, I hope all the dancers could receive more and more recognition from now on and they truly deserve the spotlight that they are receiving right now.

I think the same .... groups have their own category of Best Choreography but many and many or them aren't the ones who contributed to the creation of the choreography. Mnet has a category for producer ...they should create one for choreographer.
