@@toastgalaxy776 tbh I’m not even a fan of him as a player, he’s yet to prove himself in a top pro league or top junior league, he played in the third tier in Sweden this year and before that in the OJHL which is only a u18 league. His skating isn’t that great and he’s not that good defensively. He does have some offensive upside but I don’t know how much is actually there considering the level of competition. All that and the fact that he should’ve been a second rounder at most with a bunch of controversy as well just makes for a bad pick in my books. I’d love for him to prove me wrong but rn I’m not a fan of this pick

Holland went with a forward as it is much more likely that a forward will contribute sooner than a goalie. I do know ow that the organisation is quite happy with how Stuart Skinner's season went. I do think the Oilers would have gone with Cossa, from what I have read, but the desire to get a forward was spoken of by Holland.

@@LeylaDerben Mailloux is well aware he messed up. Since coming back to Canada, he is bi-weekly consulting a psychologist to assess his mental health and socio-emotional functioning and he has displayed strong self-actualization, independence, social responsibility, problem-solving, impulse control, flexibility, reality testing, and stress tolerance. That's the first step for self-improvement. At this point, all he can do about the situation is pay his fine, publicly apologize to the family, be remorseful of his acts, try to help her as much as possible, and finally move on. If it's still not enough or sincere for her, then that's her problem.

Logan is still a kid who made an immature teenage mistake, but should it ruin his whole career because of a mental brainfart when you were 17? What the girl wanted was a proper apology and she did get one. Now it's up to Logan Mailloux to follow up to his words, not do the same kind of mistakes and become a better person.

Whats with everyone hating the MTL pick, its hockey you pick the best player avaible and they did, hes 17 FFS it was a picture with her hair and bra strap showing people need to calm down it was bad but it was not as bad as it could have been. at the end of the day MTL got an amazing player that would have been picked top 15 smart move.
