I have mine for 2-1/2yrs now. I do agree that the engine/tranny combi works. It delivers power when you need it. As for the sound, it is louder than my friend’s monty. You can really hear the engine roar to life when you step on the accelerator. I do personally like this, especially when driving late nights or very early mornings when there’s less cars on the road - open up the windows and hear the grunt and turbo whistle which are music to my ears.

What's your thought on the steering? I pretty much like the Terra, but when I tried the steering, for me it was really heavy. - Trying to decide here if I should get the terra or the monty. Thanks!

Terra owner since feb 2020. After a year,okay naman siya. Medyo mabigat lang yun steering, masikip sa akin kasi yun driver side.

@@denzelsmith7918 Iisa lang yung Terra and X-Terra. Terra name is used in south east asia and the middle east, X Terra is used in other regions. Its essentially the same car.

The real refreshed model is already sold overseas, but I think it will take some time to arrive here since no ASEAN country has received it yet, as far as I know. It has a much better-looking dashboard (the materials I'm not sure) and finally updated class-par tech (AEB, adaptive cruise, etc.). Hopefully, it also gets disc rear brakes and the quicker steering ratio found in the facelifted Navara. Drums on these passenger vehicles for over 2M pesos is frankly unacceptable, but atleast the rest of the package is okay. The PPV segment was always a step or two behind the typical crossovers/sedans etc in terms of overall product substance, and it looks like it will stay like that for many more years to come, but it is what Filipinos want.

I am always entertianed with how boss Caco is making it very subjective in reveiwing cars.
