“Awww. I could cry now” and she did. Was fabulous as Fantine Patti was!❤️🩹

Missed seeing Patti in this by about 2 years. She was off playing Reno Sweeney by the time I saw this in London. I remember what an enormous deal it was though. And I went immediately to Dress Circle in Covent Garden (anybody remember that exquisite shop?) and bought the original cast vinyl. Good memories.

I was privileged to be in the Original Australian Cast which Trevor Nunn directed in person, for the 10 weeks to opening....What Ms Lupone says is true..an entirely amazing experience that I never had repeated in my career.

Is this from a larger documentary on LES MISERABLES? If so, where might it be seen?

This is amazing. The end got to me though. I know she always says "i could cry," but seeing her get that emotional is hard to see. :-(
