Thanks that was very thorough I just bought a 2021 Ram bighorn can you uncovered some features I didn't know existed. That was a hot day and whiteville North Carolina wasn't it?one question on the steering wheel the gear up and gear down so that's when you're going down a hill you press that it will put it into a lower gear? Automatically then reset? When you get to the bottom of the hill?

Fantastic, I wanted something like this but every Big Horn on the lot had the center console without the bench, were in crew cab, and they were pricy. So I got the 2020 Classic Tradesman with pretty much everything I wanted for less and called it a day. 👍

Great video! I did notice that on the standard sticker price of $40,000+ that it included the Hemi V-8 vvt engine but, in the options list @ bottom of options, it had a $1,795.00 increase for the Hemi V-8 vvt. That's confusing!?? 👍👍

I have Ram Sport and the climate controls are electronic, which I'm not a fan of. I'd much rather have the three dials like this model has because it's so much easier to use when driving.

it's strange, my 4th gen big horn with 1st gen 8.4 uconnect has both and some more other things like remote start, big cluster screen, center console shifter, i guess all that is simply optional....Usually the bcm modules are same for many years on all trucks so the can very easily add any option to any trim, my 2013 big horn has rain sensing vipers now thanks for that

@@tallll70 I wish mine had both. I have a dial for the audio volume and the fan speed but that's it. The temperature controls are electronic as well as the vent location controls. I have the 8.4 inch screen, heated seats and steering wheel, with remote start which is handy. No room to add round dials on the dash unfortunately.

I think these trucks are not a good value for what they charge. Why are LED lights not standard? Instead they give you crappy halogens. And you have to spend an small fortune to get safety and driver assist features that should come standard.

Backup light in the handle! A good idea! For who! Yeah you got it! For the manufacturer! people that USE a truck and don't just have it for the occasional haul of something big will eventually perhaps have a problem with the handle. I've seen them break when someone opens the tailgate. Point: that handle would cost a fortune to replace since it has the camera lens in it. One that is located as he claimed looks like an aftermarket lens generally are very good and you sure don't have to replace a body part if the camera goes out. It's a bad design. The emblems are PLASTIC and chromium coated, that's what the magnet clings to it. But it is plastic emblems. As is the front grill. And about that! Anyone who has driven over the road 18wheelers that have the closing vents over the radiator for winter will tell you that it creates a box front. Meaning fuel economy goes out the door. The louvers stop flow through airflow to the vehicle, thus makes the vehicle less aerodynamic and thus making fuel economy obsolete. Diesel trucks have then to keep the engine warm in the winter while going down the road. One of a few reasons it is done is becase Diesel Fuel when it gets too cold turns to goo, and if the engine gets to cool. oil flow in the engine might not be enough for internal lubrication. This is a GAS pickup! no reason at all to have those louvers. It's just something to raise the price of the pickup. Now I own a dodge ram, But no salesman is going to get away with trying to buffalo me into believing the hype about things just so they can try to justify over pricing.

Three year, 30,000 mile lease. True, I’ll never escape monthly payments, but. at the price of even the low level Big Horn with basically acceptable amenities, I was going to be making payments forever anyway. At least now I won’t be facing big payments PLUS maintenance PLUS out of warranty repairs. The lease on my $49,000+ 2020 4WD Big Horn costs $200/ month less than the 60 month loan I had on my 2017 $45,000 2WD Pacifica. Too old and crippled to do any repair or maintenance myself, I factored in the cost of paying a mechanic to do the things I can’t do anymore, the extra costs involved in fastidious care of a long term purchase vs. the factory recommended service on a short term lease, and the peace of mind of knowing that my wife is driving a newer,safer, more practical vehicle ... the lease is a no-brainer for me. ADDENDUM: I could have gotten better prices on both the Pacifica and the Ram, but I prefer to support local mom-and-pop dealerships rather than the huge, multi-franchise super store dealerships that, like Amazon, Lowe’s and Home Depot, seem to be putting everyone else out of business. ADDENDUM 2: Chrysler quality sucks. But Ford and GM have their issues as well. Bottom line? Anybody can build a lemon ... or a diamond. Luck of the draw.
