Coop, I just subscribed to your channel yesterday and have watched a few of the ones from earlier in the series. I loved the background on your move from D1 to D3 which makes a whole ton of sense, and is consistent with some advice that my son's goalie coach gave him on Monday which was to make moves to teams up the skill levels in small increments. One other point that you made in that video and that I constantly promote to other parents in Minor Hockey is that their kid just needs to have fun, as soon as they lose that then it becomes a job to them and the potential for them to hang up their skates is a real possibility. I have seen it happen several times during my twelve years volunteering in Minor Hockey and other youth sports. I am looking forward to the new content in 2022, as my son will start looking for teams in college hockey next year. Any advice to parents in my position would be welcome. That sounds like a potential video in itself. By the way what camera do you use to record your Vlog as it gives amazing clarity on my TV? All the best for 2022.

Love to hear it! Thank you and I am glad I can help! My advice would just be to support him in all the decisions he makes and help guide him the best you can! My parents were great in being supportive but also allowing me to make my own decisions! For camera I use a Sony A6400

We went into Calgary today to pick Rex's new red and white Bauer Hyperlite pads, blocker and catcher up to match the Notre Dame Hounds team colors and we had a long strategic chat to plan next years potential teams and summer camps. It has been a Team Baxendale decision so far along his hockey path, but it is becoming a more complex route as he now is away from the very structured local minor hockey format. I am looking forward to your new content in 2022. All the Best.
