Yes, that's the "only" reason why I went with the 2021 Specialized Fuse 27.5 in black with the same A1 aluminum frame. Otherwise I really like the 2021 Rockhopper Expert 27.5.

Let me ask you a question the tires that come with that 29 well the ones that come with the 2023 because I just ordered this rock hopper with 29 inch wheels today but I forgot to ask the bike owner shop owner can I use the existing tires to make it tubeless or do I have to buy new tires?

Bought rockhopper XXL for $450 on sale. Total disaster. Everything was falling apart, hated it. Just got the 2021 Elite. I hope this would not be a disappointment.

Just bought this same exact bike and first day out had issues with the 1x12 SRAM sx and took it back to the store I bought it from. They tried to fix it and could not after several days. The chain kept skipping even after adjustment. They offered to swap parts but I did not want any Frankenstein bike. Not happy with the service and got a full refund. After further investigation I have been hearing that the sram sx has issues?

I love this bike there is one thing I find concerning. No tapered head tube upgrades for the front fork are maxed out right here. Any bike over 1 k .... For me that would not be needed - AWESOME bike. AWESOME components otherwise.

I can't help with that question but I just got an L the other day, at the height of 178 and it feels slightly large so I'd pretty much guarantee that for your height an L would have been perfect.

I just went for the Elite. Same basic configuration, one less gear but at least it's Shimano and far more bang for your buck.

I learned absolutely nothing about the bike from this video. Would have like to hear more about the components (wheels, stem, post, tires...). Comparison with other Rockhopper trim levels. Comparison to competitive models. Wanted to know more than that you spent more on your wheels.
