Well done USA, put a smile back on the Ryder cup in Wisconsin. I think you had the momentum and the ability to push that advantage home. Europe held onto sone old stagers a bit longer than expected and in Poulter and Westwood we saw what Monty might have done had Faldo picked him. It's a hard gig to retire old stagers and not picking Phil was a master stroke. I don't think Bobby Mac would've saved Europe but he would've helped us lose in 17-11!! If you have a lot of youth it can be inspirational but our old guys got tired and put in a good but tired shift. A dead cat bounce in the singles cost me my 20-8 USA score!!

It will be interesting to see if the US team is so unified when they are getting the grief that the US fans were dishing out to Team Europe all week, maybe they should only allow 200 US fans to even up what the Europeans had to put up with this time

Ditto Christopher. The Europeans were screwed from the word go. Steve Stricker realized he needed the fans to help USA win. They were lucky European fans couldnt travel due to the pandemic.

Congratulations USA, this is what the Ryder Cup needed. Without a strong motivated USA the event wouldn’t survive. Europe needs to blood the likes of the Hojgaard twins and Bobby Mac. Pieters and Detry need to step up, and Europe needs a version of The Presidents Cup and start regularly playing the Rest of the World. As it stands, even America’s second 12 would take this European team to the cleaners.
