Linda, the balls are Styrofoam so they go on quite nicely. I add a dot of glue to keep them on.

I bought a bunch of these last year for witch hats, scarecrow hats, and Santa hats. I also bought a ton of the St. Patrick’s Day hats to make snowman hats. Have you seen the DT snowman wreath form with a hat? I was going to get it but I’m trying to visualize how I could make it work. I’m probably going to get a couple tomorrow if they still have them because ya never know. Anyway, beautiful creation as usual 😊

I made those, used black mesh fod body and ruffles, cut out sparkly felt for snow on top. Added a cardinal and ribbon with a decoration.

Since they are simply styrofoam, they can easily be placed on wired pipe cleaner, no need to have holes added. They can be pushed on and glued.

@@barbarabowens6076 You wouldn't be able to do that without compromising the integrity of the frame. You might be able to possibly add some mesh but there would be nothing to support it. You can order them online if you want the smaller forms though.

I get them from Dollar Tree. These are Betty Crocker scissors and make cutting through the wired ribbons easy.
