Thank you! This is lake success in CA near Springville CA. I choose to stay with the plastic wear ring so if something like this happens again it will just break the wear ring.

The prop I installed is a 12/17 I’m not sure what the stock prop is but I am definitely happy with the prop I choose for a stock ski upgrade

did you lose top speed vs the stock impeller?

I actually gained 2 mph it will do 50 mph on flat water. Before I could only get to 48 mph. I raced a completely stock trixx and I was faster off the line and top speed

My ski is still new and there was a lot of grease there still so I just redistributed what was there

Have you recently changed your wear ring? If so and you put the tabs on the ring over the water pipe it’s wrong. The tabs are supposed to be on the metal post

Hey don’t know if you still active but I noticed when I stared mine back up after stainless steel seal replacement and the same impeller it made a uncomfortable grinding noise

Make sure the index notch of the wear ring isn’t on the water pipe easy mistake to make can throw your alignment off… also it’s recommended when using the stainless wear ring to use the upgraded seal… inspect the inside of the ring see if the impeller is making contact
