You know i was worried when i couldnt find any videos about these little u8s but for just 2 little 8 inchers they put in some work. I plan on having 4 u8s onder the back seat of my f250. Gonna upgrade the alternator of course.

Nice setup man you should definitely think about adding a big 3. Adding a salt 2 amp with a custom built box runner to about 35hertz about to get my truck from the shop

I just switched from 2 SA v3 8s at 35hz to 2 sealed idq v4 12s in 2.1 cubes and overall the 12s are louder, need less power and are much tighter. I wasn't sure about the downfiring vs front firing but the amount of bass that hits me from downfiring is just as big.

Cool. Nice set-up. I have two sundown x8v3. On a deaf bonce 2100 it bangs real hard. I just bought a sundown x 10 v3 getting another one and running a 6 k on them should definitely be an upgrade from what I have now. Space is limited too.

I have the exact same box with 2 Skar Audio Zvx 8D2 and they are not too bad in it the box is tuned to 35hz and they are on a Skar Rp2000.1 amp along with a boss audio 8 farad capacitor as of right now that’s my only upgrades I am running 1 gauge power and ground wire cca eventually plan on running ofc wire

Sounds awesome, i was debating on going with 2 dd 2508Gs in close to there recommend max volume whichbis 1.25cu net per or jus going with subs that play in a smaller ported box like 4 U8s or 4 sa v3 8s. Other option was 2 x8 v4s but figured 4 U8s should pound hard on a salt 3k

​@CaseyFleetMedia I spoke with my box builder and he told me I have room to run either 3 sundwon U8s ported or 2 x8v4 8s. So think ima end up going with 3 sundown U8s ported under my seat on a Synergy WFO 3.1 which does 3500@1 at 12.6v and close to 5k at 14.4v so should have enough to push the 3 U8s. Those U8s sound good an Hopefully hit lows a bit. I'm more into 32hz on up nothing really below 30hz for sure and like the 40hz range bass too

do you need that power distribution block? can you just run the power wire straight from the front battery to the back battery and from the back battery to the amp? and run parallel the 2nd back battery to the 1st back battery?

man when you walk in that shed, that told me what it's doing strictly on phone speakers with that rattle!👍👍👍did you tap in your front speakers with the LOC or is there a factory sub up front? Asking because people say it's best to run the LOC to a factory sub wire rather than door speakers for a subwoofer

Actually I did tap into the wires up front. I also used a cheap line out converter.

I just got a sia 3500 and 2 sundown XV2 12s. Built a box tuned at 30hz with a slot port and 45s in all the corners. She hits from 25hz to 45hz probly 140 to 145 dbs just guessing.

Why do you need the ground all the way from the battery? Isn't the rear ground enough?

You don’t need that. Only reason I did that is because I had the smaller gage wire already ran. So instead of pulling it back out I made my ground even better
