Running in sand the whole time is a totally different animal than the ski resort venues they usually do. That looked brutal. It's also cool to see so many international competitors at this championship. Congrats to Atkins for winning and the Spartan crew for the great coverage!

Great 👍 coverage and play by play. It’s always good when David adds insights into what racers are doing along the course. I’m glad a volunteer or staff told Ryan that he grabbed the wrong sandbag. This prevented a controversy at the end. Beautiful course and dunes.

Again, please stop showing the podium finishers in the thumbnail. It ruins the drama of the moment.

It is a great coverage of the race, it would even better if you wouldn't use photos of the race winners in the video thumbnails, it ruins the fun a bit :)

I LOVE Spartan Race, but the back drop is not as visually pleasing as the mountains, perhaps that is just me. I am not saying it is not challenging and an excellent test of human performance. That being said I am thrilled that Ryan won his world championship.

Is Atkins wearing a continuous glucose monitor on the back of his left tricep? If so, is it the Dexom with continuous monitoring? That would be interesting because you can set it to sync with your watch and give real time glucose alerts.

On a separate note, I wish and hope Joe partners with Whoop on Spartan series, Championships or/and WTMs. He interviewed Whoop founder on Spartan Up. It would’ve been cool to see the strain levels of each racer along this course.

Disappointed in Spartan. Where is the women’s coverage? You have the best female competitor there is and nothing. Awesome for Ryan but there are two winners in this event. You want people coming out. Let’s see the women’s race.
@aaroncoffman81343 жыл бұрын
In recent races, Spartan has been alternating when races are posted. Men's video first then women's a few days later. Then next race is women's race first followed by men's race (Big Bear US National Series). I suspect same pattern continues. The do seem to be fair in this regards.
