Switchback bags have a more practical opening operation.

I have a 2012 switchback, replacing the exhaust system took all vibration out at 80mph. Mine has, complete exhaust, cams, 500 dollar headlight, oil pump, cam plate, aftermarket windshield and the fork fangs fixed my helmet buffering. ( all stock it ran up to 100mph pretty quickly, after mods it gets to 115mph as quickly ). Lighter exhaust and fork fangs are the two must have mods in my opinion.

How are the shocks.
@jes13752 жыл бұрын
@@kwamestamps35 My shocks are stock, they mediocre 60mph and below. Above 65mph they ride better when you hit holes or a bridge crossing. 250lb driver

@@jes1375 are you considering changing the shocks. I'm about 300 and coming from a 883. How is the seat?
@jes13752 жыл бұрын
@@kwamestamps35 I'm selling mine, but I would change them if I was keeping it. I didn't like the seat for awhile, but now it is broke in and sits well for 2 hour ride.

I would choose the switchback. Solely on the color options, and the user friendly bags.

Good comparison. I have a 2013 switchback with stage one, Legend suspension, memphis shades batwing fairing, and many other mods at this point. The sport glide is not enough of an upgrade for me personally. I don't like the fairing on the sport glide, they should have put a full batwing fairing on it, it would look better, and Harley would sell more imho. Also I like the Twin cam vibration.
@kwamestamps352 жыл бұрын
Is it the normal HD vibration or is it over the top? How did it ride with stock shocks and how does it ride with the Legends? Is the front suspension OK? Thanks for your reply.

pushing your front wheel into the front ground...as opposed to the side or rear ground?

I've always thought the switchback was super cool. I don't like the look of the hardbags on the sport glide or the fairing.

Want to sell that 2014 switchback?
@marka17122 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t trade a single switchback for a pair of those m8 powered turds. The sound and feel of the 103 is miles ahead of the m8 motors and none of them are fast. I love my Harley’s and they are more comfortable to ride but if you want a fast bike it won’t have a bar and shield logo lol. I can ride my switchback all day and not be sore after, it rides and handles great and with minimal maintenance it’ll still be rolling strong at 100k miles
@yaboileeroy303820 күн бұрын
The few times I’ve gotten to putt around on an M8, I was fairly surprised by the torque and throttle response, the Low Rider ST feels less like a Harley and more like a dirt bike and the motor was just peppier than hell. I love Twin Cams, too, but I dunno what world you’re living in where M8’s are all absolute turds. A hopped up 103 TC will tease a stock 114 M8 all day, but you throw a cam, some compression, and a good tune at an M8 and they will assert themselves no prob.
@marka171220 күн бұрын
@ you missed the entire point. There are no fast Harleys lol. I’m not knocking them, I love them but the m8 is obviously stronger and faster than a twin cam but they don’t sound and feel right. If you want one great, I wouldn’t have one given. I’d immediately trade for an older Harley or something totally different. Just my opinion but as I said a couple times now, no Harley is fast when talking about fast bikes period. Not a rideable legal road bike. They don’t exist

Had a 2014 fld,great bike,fast and very maneuverable, traded it in for a 22 heritage which I love ,if only I could have kept the switch back too, again great bike.
