Yep. I'd take the base model Musso with the 6 speed manual. Very good value at $35k drive away.

@@7s29 That's my plan. The manual, with a lift kit. Sadly we can't get the factory lift kit but IronMan suspension here in Australia are in a partnership with SsangYong and most likely their suspension is better than the factory stuff. We're also getting a different factory tuned suspension in Australia to that tested here.

Hi all, can I start by absolutely complimenting you on the thorough nature of your reviews. With the Ssangyong ownership issues now out of the way I'm sure we will see & hear more. Whilst you gave the points to Ford, the Musso is MUCH cheaper in Australia & also has 7 years unlimited warranty. Hands down winner for me! ✌

I just got a rhino spr in nz. Great ute for the occasional off roading. Disappointed at the 5 yr warranty in nz and only rear facing camera.

The cause of the rear end sliding out around a corner is due to the khan/musso having much better torque

what I do not like in Khan is the micro shaking of the rear, sometimes you do not know why. The road looks flat but the rear is shaking. Very strange feeling. But I have to admit that this revamp version looks appealing, especially in this color

Cooper lug type tire V a road pattern is a major factor in this test. The musso with a road tire is very good.

Rear doors on the ssangyong are a pain. I had a ssangyong 2008 same design flaw. Rear passenger can't get out in a garage because of the longer door limits how far it can open in tight spaces. Cheers

He did not mention that SSangyong has an issue with its debts. I like the way of how ssangyong looks, design and its rich features. If it has a lower price and the issues regarding its debts and bankruptcy end soon, I would go with it, instead of Ford. Ranger is a little bir boring to me.

This video is not fair at all. You have not mentioned or tested the rear coil springs ( do mention how much psi was in both vehicles tyres). Also you did not do a 0-100km/hr speed test. How a about the high tensile steel of the musso?
