Thanks for doing this review. I'm something of a Suzuki fanboy. These cars might not be fastest or the best lookers or have the plushest interiors. However they are relatively cheap, cost-effective machines which (treated right) give superb fuel economy. They excel on reliability & practicality. Given the choice between a Suzuki and a Tesla, I'd pick the Suzuki for 'saving the planet' every time.

Thank you for nice comment! I am not a suzuki fanboy but with suzuki across i was really impressed. Very fast with 306 PS and really good fuel consumption for a 2 ton big car. Did you hear about suzuki across? It looks so nice! :)

@@TESTDRIVEFREAK I'm a 'small car' kinda guy so the Across has limited appeal for me. Also, here in the UK, it's really bloody expensive! (£36k+). In terms of fuel economy, I'd happily wager my 5 year old, £7k Celerio against the Across PHEV in terms of OVERALL fuel economy (over several years, all seasons, all driving conditions) & running costs. Seriously, even now it AVERAGES 3.7L/100km on a good run. Suzuki's engineers really do understand how to do a lot with a little! I'm trying to persuade my son to upgrade his thirsty, 8 year old Qashqai & IMO, a new £16k S-Cross hybrid might serve him well for the next 10 years.

yes i did with Suzuki Vitara 1.4 Boosterjet 129 PS, with 140 PS is no more available for 2021. Only with 129 PS in germany.

It is a mild hybrid which has a small electric engine that only helps at low and medium revs. Car can't go only electric.

@@CheesemanGT Yes, for this guy every car consumes too much and somehow there is another one that consumes less. The perfect car for him consumes 5 l at 200 kmh at has a tank of 200 l so you won't have to stop when you circle the Earth.
