I come here to admire it since I don’t have the patience to do it myself. There’s a Minature bonsai show in a few weeks so hope you can join in on that one 🙇🏻♂️

Nice to see the Japanese tend to leave the Juniper bark as it is and only treat the deadwood, more natural. Amazing trees

Dave: Thanks for this coverage. Just a point for improvement at the next Bonsai Show. This video was shared to many Bonsai clubs around the world, and I would suggest you bring along the Bonsai Nursery friend you mentioned to accurately describe the trees you video. You referred to the little trees , which are called Shohin or Mame. Every tree has a named style, which a laymen would not know. Hope you cover the next one with a Bonsai expert for good tree descriptions. . Thanks

Jonathan, thank you for your comments. I apologize for the amateur commentary. I hope that you were able to enjoy the video regardless. My friend was actually working at the event so he was not able to accompany me. Maybe you can suggest people to turn off the sound and put on some of your favorite music and you can enjoy the beautiful trees more. I know that Japan is still closed to tourists and I thought it would be of interest to others (along with myself) Thank you for your advice. I will try and do so next event.

@@DaveinOsaka Your audience is big in our community and like you said we can't visit these shows . I'm sure you can find a suitable Bonsai mate for the next big show. Thanks again.

@Jonathan Aristone I will replace it with music and then I will send this link to my friend and hopefully he can record an audio commentary I can place over it.

If I did every tree in order it would take me hours. I only did the ones which caught my eye.
