How do you deal with older cars that either have stubborn or the fitting just snaps right off when you twist it?

Spray some good penetrating oil on it and let it sit. I use pb blaster it works, Kroil is the best in the business but very expensive. I’m not sure if it’s recommended but a little heat may help. They do snap off a lot it is very common you can use an extractor to get it out, or if you’re lucky and can put vice grips on it use those if they get a bite.
