I'm a Toyota fan. We drive the pre-lifted G variant of this. But I agree that this is a lil bit on the expensive side for the features. Trim a 100k or 200k then it's gonna be more competitive.

I think the reason it was never sold was because in the US, the 4runner is sold there which is a mid-size SUV, the Fortuner is also a mid-size SUV.

It’s a nice upgrade for sure but at that price point, add a bit more and you can get a decent pre-owned Prado or an older LC200. So if I had that kind of money, I would go with an LC200 which not only gives you pretty much the same features maybe even better albeit a much much older car, but we all know that the LC not only lasts you a lifetime but its looks never goes out of style. Also, these features should’ve been included in the previous releases. The competition already had these features, Toyota is trolling us once again. And before you brand me as a hater, I do own a 2018 Fortuner.

Those are the toyota taxi's you can see in the metro. J is the next variant after the no letter. E is the upgraded version of J. G is the lower version of V. V is the top of the line. LTD is top top of line For the past 25 years i've been driving around the metro and buying cars from toyota, i've never seen a Q variant. No, you're telling me there is no J variant? Funny. 😅
