This Hiace was launched since 2005 here in the Philippines. The first variants were Commuter and GL Grandia with 2.5 diesel engines. In 2006 or 2007 Hiace Super Grandia joins the lineup with fabric or leather option. The Hiace now provides airbag in 2007 for Commuter.

Thank you very much for a clear and concise review. You mentioned that some people tend to steal gear knobs. I noticed that all Toyota dealers in Saudi Arabia have all knobs, wheal covers and all removable things would be removed and put in a box. No other car company does this.

There was a happening here in the Philippines. Someone stole the shiftknob of an expensive vehicle from a Motorshow. So, some dealerships are more careful.
