Hey T. In case your curious. This is our health clinic work cars that we drive every day ( same white colour too ). The clinic has other model cars but these are the main one's. Great to drive too 👍 ( but right hand drive for down under 😁 ) same tinted windows as well - but without the sun roofs.

Hi another great review bro..one question how did you find the braking in the hybrid vs the normal rav 4? Is it a weird and different feeling? Can u brake normally like a normal car?

@@carsunlocked Sorry, it's been happening worldwide. I also received a letter from Toyota last April that actually addresses the problem, with NO FIX YET. There's a class action lawsuit against Toyota.

Thanks Danny - My RAV4 Limited Hybrid is currently being built and scheduled to arrive at the dealership by the end on November (Hard to not get excited)! I just sold my 2017 Prius Prime and was going to get the RAV4 XSE Prime, but considering everything (price for the Prime - actual fuel savings - how hard they are to get right now) plus I like the fact I can get the Silver Sky Metallic color w/ 2 tone gray interior on the Limited and the interior on the Prime only comes in black. I think (and hope) I will very pleased with my choice on the Limited Hybrid model.

How well does the lane keep assist work? How do you like the top trim versus the outback top trim?

it works great and to be honest I didn't get a chance to drive the out back trim level

Lane keep sucks. Might keep you from crossing the line by accident but otherwise if you let it steer for you, it will scare you.

I received a letter from Toyota that they are working on a tank replacement. It is not a recall. My dealer told me it is an extended warranty.

I got that same letter last April. Funny, this issue was happening since 2019 model. Toyota is only now addressing it to customers because of the Class Action Lawsuit filed right before COVID

This is excellent, thank you. I just wonder, most hybrids have the gas engine just to charge the battery pack when needed. It sounds like the Rav4's motor directly drives the front wheels? Isn't that over complicating things, to have both electric and traditional drive train? Does that mean more maintenance? Thank you in advance for any replies.

Good question! I am not an expert on the mechanicals but I think it battery does charge while using the gas. only time will tell on the maintenance and reliability

The engine both charges the battery and drives the wheels. There is a reason why it is called hybrid. The Chevy Volt was pure electric, the battery was the only component that drove the wheels BUT it had a small gasoline engine that was just for charging the battery (extended range) when the battery was low in charge. The RAV4 Prime has the all electric drive until the battery is near depletion then the hybrid system would kick in using both the engine and battery to drive the wheels. I believe the range for the Prime was about 80-90 km’s or 50-60 miles.

How does insurance, maintenance and repair cost compared to a regular gas car? All those sensors must make it very expensive to replace those panels and bumpers with even a minor hit.

I’m in Los Angeles and was thinking of either the Prius or rav4. The ground clearance is quite low on Prius. We don’t have weather issues here however but still... what issues have u had with the clearance? Is it comfortable long term?

@@marcopolo-xj4yw i had broke the bumper a twice by hitting snow. got hard snow stuck under. I love the car that i can sit in it with air con on without using much fuel. That is the sticking point of no going back to pure gasoline car or plug in hybrid (other than toyota, plug in hybrids are fraud). Anyway, i would definitely check out the Rav4 hybrid if i am you. i loved that car when i saw it in the Autoshow. My comment about the dash is just nip picking.

Only thing worth it is the hybrid engine. Dated interior. Quality issues are a concern which makes me not consider getting one. Soo many issues cropping up for this car.
