If you go to NY during the Holidays go during Thanksgiving it's way less crowded than Xmas but still festive. We flew on Thanksgiving and watched the parade live on the plane and then enjoyed the next few days there.

My kids always ask to watch "Arthur's Perfect Christmas" from PBS. It is super cute and D.W. teaches a lesson about appreciating the gifts that you receive at Christmas even if it isn't exactly what she asked for. It also shows the spirit of giving when Arthur is searching for the perfect gifts for his mom and dad. Highly recommend it!!

I am a HUGE fan of a lot of these Christmas movies that you mentioned! and I’d highly recommend that you include Noelle (on Disney+) in your watchlist! I wish I’d seen it when It first came out, but I never gave it a chance until last year. It has become a family classic for us. The Christmas Chronicles 1&2 are fun family movies. The Holiday Calendar on Netflix is a really cute love story. Operation Christmas Drop (on Netflix), this one also stars Kat Graham, who I personally love. Has a tropical theme that I think you would appreciate now that you guys are in Hawaii! For ADULT Christmas movies Holidate & Love Hard

Growing up my favorite Christmas Eve tradition was my family would get Chinese food for dinner and watch a 24 hours of a Christmas story on TNT. It’s my dads favorite Christmas movie and we only watch it during the 24 hour marathon and we still do it to this day.

I loved the Muppets Christmas Carol, and Barbies version. Barbie the Nutcracker was sooooooo good as a kid. The animation hasn't aged well though 😂 I also really enjoyed the newest animated Grinch, it was super cute.
