Fantastic shooting as usual. Cause for the stoppage at 1:29? Any general observations on the JP-5 vs. the blowback you've previously won with?
@Maxamundi2 жыл бұрын
No extractor cleaning in 15k rounds. It was just a worse stovepipe that got stuck and took much more force to clear. Unfortunate stage for it to happen on. The failure on stage 12 was me loading the gun improperly. It never chambered all the way because I rushed my make ready and rode the bolt forward.

@@Maxamundi Thanks for the detailed response. Have your splits at distance improved with the JP-5? Curious to know how significant the difference in dot-movement is compared with a well-tuned blowback
@Maxamundi2 жыл бұрын
@@shootinbruin3614 Splits at distance is probably the one significant difference vs the best blowbacks I’ve run. Otherwise you can get essentially the same dot movement with the blowback but it takes far more energy from you as far as grip and stance go. So it’s much harder to execute. Overall the JP5 is 3/4 - 1lb lighter than blowbacks if you put the same light hand guard on it. Most of that is just from operating mass being less in the bolt carrier and buffer.

Looks like you already answer the question that I'm going to ask (jams) Anyway what bullets did you use for match and training?is it picky when it comes to bullets.? Planning to get also JP5 😁.

I also am curious on the JP-5. Thougts on recoil and reliability?
@Maxamundi2 жыл бұрын
Recoil is significantly less. Reliability is slightly improved overall in my experience, however it’s far gentler on triggers so trigger issues essentially disappear.

Hi Max, I’ve noticed that your not using the JP all vertical comp…Is it their ti comp your using? Is it better or just lighter?

Can you swap out the bolt during a course of fire with the jp5?
@Maxamundi2 жыл бұрын
Yes, just as easily. But the thicc mp5 firing pin is way better than AR9 pins so you probably will never have to lol
@justsomerandomguyman2 жыл бұрын
What's the comp like on this gun? Does it still have vertical ports? Are the vertical ports still necessary or does the roller-delayed action tame muzzle rise enough that it doesn't really matter anymore?

What optic is that? Is it on a riser? The foregrip brown stuff looks like header pipe heat tape??
@Maxamundi2 жыл бұрын
I was using the sig Romeo 3 max on a $10 monstrum riser from Amazon because the proper sig riser is impossible to find. Even sig couldn’t find me one lmao. The wrap is cheap self adhesive bandage from a 12 pack on Amazon with a bunch of different camo patterns. It’s just for looks.
