Hammerteil. Das Ding ist so schnell von 200-250 kmh wie mein ehemaliger TTRS mit 360 Ps. Wie der durchmarschiert. 100-200 in 10.5 sek. Respekt. Da kann die komplette direkte Konkurrenz einpacken (A35, M135i, S3, Civic TypeR).

While no 4 cylinder ever sounds the best but I think the MK8 whatever tweaking they did to the EA888, sounds much better then previous gen cars like the MK7. This sounds ok and even loud for having OPF which is surprising.

This has rear wheel torque vectoring, the s3 doesn’t Tbf the audi is more comfortable and is more luxurious overall, but not as sporty this time

I’m coming from a 2018 S3 and I chose to order the MK8 golf R over the new s3. Golf weighs less, it’s more fun, and it’s a hatch which in S3 we don’t get in the USA. And if you want manual this the only way to get it. I like the S3 but if I were doing that all over again I get the RS3. I don’t think anyone can really convince you but the question is what do you really want? Does the S3 really bring that much more upscale prestige for you? If the answer is yes you won’t feel good in the golf. I don’t care about the perception I get what I like tbh and I could get either or but I’d take the golf r this time. With all that being said the Golf R is a better car than the S3 it even handles better…it goes soemthing like this on the MQB platform… RS3>GolfR>S3. But that’s not going to be everyone’s opinion and that’s fine too. Get what you really like at the end of the day.

I think it looks alright. This gen the golf interior definitely loses out to the S3. The previous MK7 vs the 8v s3 the golf definitely had the better interior.
