I’m not sure if you have an answer for this and I don’t know if it happens on this car but why does the ambient lighting turn off when I start driving in the 2020 GLI?

ambient lighting is only on when you have your headlight switch on parking lights, headlights on or your door is opened.

​@@alexevans1825 Ambient lighting is only on when your headlights/taillights are on, basically at night time, unless you open the door night or day they will be on until the door is shut.

They won't be on during the day because you won't see them. Also, there is a setting in the "Ambient Lighting" setting that you can change to manual from automatic.

@@vwguru i know automatic changes the color depending on what driving mode your in and manual let’s you change the color, does keeping it on manual keep the ambient lights on while you drive at night? Or do you have to have your headlights on for them to show up?

No. But it does have 10 color ambient lighting.

It looks like a wheel chair will fit just fine. This might be better for the horsepower alone than the Passat, problem is the gas tank is so small. Smaller than the 14 gallon tank on my 04 bmw 325i

I will have to check that out, my first thought is no. I think those may have gone away with the last generation of Jetta.
