WOW ! Am I happy or what ! Mind blowing performance and incredible arrangement. Great to see a French horn in the line up. Piano solo really cool. OUT OF THIS WORLD ! This number was introduced to me at the age of 15 by my great teacher Peter Frazer, a great jazz musician, arranger and teacher who passed away a few years ago. This number always reminds me of him. Excellent as always by Maestro Chamarro and the "gang". Fantastic solos on the French horn (Trompa) by Max Salgado. Rita reminds me here of Sarah Vaughn because of the huge vocal range she employs. I am sure" Sassy" would give an approving nod in heaven! Bravo guys!!

Joan, you weren't kidding when you said you had a treat for us with the re-recording of "Wave." Max and Joan Marti playing together was especially sublime. Now I'll have to listen to this again 15 times or so! This is the first time that I remember hearing the SAJB do Jobim's classic tune with vocals, but I love it. I thought Rita's performance, while brief, was spot on. She's always had a great ear for Brazilian music, and this is no exception. It was also a pleasure to see Max reprising his role from 2015. Six years later and they've all just gotten better!
