This is definitely street geo imo. WTP makes a park spec complete called the Versus. Lower stand over, a little less steep ht angle, and 32mm fork offset. You get to twitchy geo on a park bike and you’re gonna have a harder time learning. Park geo falls right in between street and dirt geo. Back end, hta, and stand over alone on this designate this as a street geo bike. Just my humble opinion.

Hey Doug I've been watching you for a while now and I've got a couple questions. First what's your opinions on the stolen bike build kit from Dan's. 2nd question how can I shave some weight. I pieced together a wtp 21" buck frame and a stolen build kit an my bike weighs 26lbs. Brakless no hub guards or pegs on. I'm just wondering what parts I could replace to shave off a few lbs.

The Stolen build kit was always something I really wanted. It's a really good place to start. The easiest thing to change is tires. The hive tires are around 24 oz and momentums are 19oz so on 2 tires thats already almost a lb of weight. Everything else get harder because a good amount of weight can be saved with ti spokes, alloy nipples, better hubs and lighter rims on your wheels. but thats a very expensive replacement.

Damn you really get a lot for $20 more on the devotion, other than hub guards, but I'd rather have a chromo back half and double wall front and need to buy hub guards

WTP quality in general is better than Cult, but the Cult Devo is better than the WTP justice. A better comparison would be the Cult Devo to the WTP Reason. In that case, the Reason shits on the Cult.

I don't see what on that bike makes it worth the money over the devotion, they both have 8 spline cranks and I don't believe WTP taiwanese frame is gonna be notably higher quality than cults, I could be wrong of course but I don't see it

@@jda79 theirs only 2 house companies with a lifetime warranty in BMX. WTP/Eclat and Sunday/Odsy. No other companies making frames offer a lifetime warranty. Why? Because the quality is higher and they trust it more than other companies. Cult has crash replacement which means they sell you another frame/part/etc at a discount.

@@eatmysalt291 the reason isn't that bike tho. It doesn't have a lifetime warranty. Cult makes pro frames on that level they just dont sell completes on that level. The WTP envy and Sunday soundwave both cost north of $1200

@@jda79 that’s why I said in general. Their quality control is at a higher level than Cult, wether you wanna believe it or not. That’s what you’re paying for, quality control. And WTP aftermarket frames are made in the exact same factory as their complete frames.

You can definetly do better for the price. When you're over $500, there's no reason to not be full chromoly and double wall rims front and back.

@@Dougsterbob I've got them bookmarked along with Dan's Comp. your store, Source, J&R Bicycles. I'm waiting on how the 2022 Subrosa Letum looks. It's either that or the Whip. Not a huge fan of how the Switch looks and it's not too far off of the Subrosa price, so it's cheaper just to get the Subrosa.
