2021 Yamaha MT-03 Oil and Filter Change

I did my first oil change and I think I overfilled my MT-03 by 400 ml idk what to do now if it's ok or it needs to be drained. I had exactly the same oil like you in this video and I put exactly 2.5 bottles with new filter.

Check it in the sight glass maybe you will be ok. Worst case you pull the plug catch the oil in a clean container and put it back in, but I think you can get a piece of clean plastic tubing and put it in the fill tube and cap the end with your finger and pull a “straw” full out at a time. It takes a while but should work. Good luck I think you will get it, and I bet you won’t do again.

@@blueridgerider2023 yeah I got that bottle to spray the flowers so I'm gonna use it tomorrow to drain it a little . I just thought that this extra 300ml or 0.2 qt is not a big deal.

If it is over the high mark on your sight glass I would definitely take a little out until you get it between the marks. Overfill can cause several issues.

​@@blueridgerider2023 I used that little pump that you have in the bottle that is used to spray flowers and whatever and I pumped out 300ml of oil from the engine and now my lvl is exactly where it should be on that glass window😁👍.
