Question I just got this in and there isnt any weather stripping that came with this. Can I install this without it? I purchased some 3/16"x 3/8" vinyl foam weather strip. Would this be ok to use?

To be honest you don’t really need the weather strip. It’s merely there to give the lip for more definition. You can definitely install without the weather strip. I’m not to sure if the foam weather strip too well or not. It’s only aesthetic.

I heard the yofers start to turn yellow in color. How’s yours holding up after a year

Yeah I have been seeing that from other people. To be honest with you, my color is still good. The lip is just scruffed up due to nature. There can possibly be two reason of the de-color; - Dirty or yellow microfiber towels - There is no wax applied to the lip. Wax would protect any paint from de-coloring.

Where did you buy the airbag system and what type of exhaust did you use to make it sound like that?

Bought it straight from Airlift. I routed the exhaust wire thru my trunk where the spare tire is, and have the hose pointing towards my mufflers

Where you get weather strips or is that just tape ? Do you think the weather strip is a necessity ? the strip you put on before the 3m tape is what I mean.

The weather strips come with the kit already. It’s more of a preference on your end. Me personally I like it because it does contrast the front end a little bit but it’s not a necessity.

Yofer is known for their drop, so you will be lowered by at least 2.5 inches when Akasaka is about a 1 inch drop.

This lip is way harder to install then the akasaka lip smh I like it but no joke don’t make my mistake if possible just pay a professional to make sure it sits nice in flush with bumper and he is right the double sided tape was trash
