2021 zx14r gets new exhaust! (voodoo)

When I bought mine the first thing I did was to get rid of the monstrous original exhaust and got me some Two Bros …Not too loud …just right.

Not sure how long you left running but the tick should go away when the engine reaches normal running temp (you should hear a shift at 109 F and it should be completely smooth by 125 F). Otherwise than maybe there is a leak. I have a 2017 with a full Brock’s exhaust, flashed and tuned. - Amy

Yeah it was definitely an exhaust leak I put stock back on it to trade it in and it was loose

Have a 20 ZX-14R. I should've gone full exhaust instead of the slipons for weight reduction...especially for a 6'3 300lb guy. I need all the weight reduction I can get...and a diet of course..lol. I did put the Hoffman slipons on though and took out the baffles. It's loud and sounds waaaaay better than those stock trumpets it came with.

Oh yeah these things sound amazing with an exhaust, I was gonna do slip ons but I figured I might as well do it all lol

Voodoo exhaust are just not the way to go. Cheap and no good. The welds on them dont hold up. Brock's Alien head or Akrapovic are the only way to go!

Agreed they are on the cheaper side but I think that’s why so many people buy them🤙🏻

Hi there , any particular reason why you traded zx14r ? Wonder if it’s bike related or just life decisions … take care ! Mine also had a tick and just how Amy said it goes away after warming up, I have full M4 exhaust , love it

I honestly just traded it because I didn’t want the payment anymore and I wanted a car the bike was phenomenal and I would buy another one if I had the money that being said I think my next one will be a 1000cc

I haven’t fixed it yet I can tell it’s coming from the header. My advise would be just take the time to drop the radiator so you can get to all the bolts easily. I’m gonna take mine back apart and do that myself when I get the chance.

Do the pipe have good back pressure with the voodoo pipe. Did you gain or lose power?

I haven’t put it on the dyno so I wouldn’t know exactly but I definitely wouldn’t say I lost power, it’s a better flowing exhaust if anything you’ll lose some torque down low but gain hp up top

I don't understand why Kawasaki keep attaching the worthless muffler which almost all the owners of ZX-14 throw away to attach a new muffler with additional money.
