@@georgenapoles5207 I was going to tow it with my 2021 Subaru Ascent that has a 5000/500 capacity . After asking the Minnie Winnie FB group, I got like 22 responses saying not to. Now I am going to use a 2015 Ram 1500 5.7 V8 Crew Cab rated for 8200 towing. We are driving 9 hrs tomorrow to pick it up.

One thing I noticed that I'm very surprised about is none of the cabinet doors have any resistive latches to hold the doors closed. How could this be overlooked by design at winnebago??? They don't think we need them? There will be stuff spewed everywhere especially being a pull behind ! LOL. Good video !

Thank you for watching! There are electrical sockets on one side of the bed along with USB plugs. ( all on the same side of the bed). The Explorer & Comfort Packages are Mandatory Options on the Micro Minnie's. They are lifted off the ground now ( that is standard). Ciarra, switching the bathroom door to a pocked door actually decreases the space in the bathroom by the thickness of the door and sliding apparatus. Previously, the bathroom door would have swung outward and would be located outward by the thickness of the door.

Winnebago has so many great features I bought a 2021.". I love it... unfortunately they have taken one major step backward in their new cabinet doors I find...the cabinet door are a flat fake wood panel and the screws on the hinges come loose

Yes, it is not an option from the factory to order one. However, the drawer is the same dimensions as the oven, so your local service shop can add one if need be.

Ciarra B what is the bracket for just in front of the propane quick connect? It has a small white BaL sticker on it. There's another one at the driver's rear next to the stabilizer. Can a slide topper be installed? I am thinking this model or the 2306BHS or the 2108TB. How long does it usually take to get one once a decision is made? Does Win have these in their inventory unspoken for?I know they not have the exact model I was thinking of but to get one when I'm ready would be o'kay Does your dealership install solar systems with inverters, lithium batteries? I am in the market for either a 2108DS or 2108FBS. Just waiting for the right price. I thought the 2108DS comes with a dinette vice the couch. I wish they did not take out the small oven on the 2108DS. I can use that small oven as a pizza warmer, a toaster. (I guess the multi-function microwave can act as a small oven.) I think the black/grey pipes are hanging too low despite the small lift and 15" tires. That dingy ceiling fan needs to go. Too cheap to put even a cheap MaxxAir or a Fantastic fan.

They eliminated the 2106DS & FBS Floorplans for 2021B Models. Now they are just making the 2108 ( DS) or ( FBS) with options of a couch, or a Dinette, or a EZ Glide Sofa.

I am interested in a 2108DS with a dinette, NOT a couch, and a murphy bed. I don't like the portable table. That is another thing I have to put it away. I initially like the 1708FB because I prefer not have a slide, but I cannot accept the side bed (no way). I also looked at the 1808FB but the TV is way in the back. Cannot see it from the dinette.

Find one with the dinette. We have a 2021 model, bought last month, with dinette. No B version. Convection microwave is MUCH better than the regular, almost worthless oven

Thanks for your feedback! I agree with this. Hopefully they will come up with a new design soon to make it easier to access. The sister brand of Winnebago, the GRAND DESIGN, they have put in a storage spot under the bed, and used a lighter weight table, which I personally like a bit better. TV Trays might be a great option for your friends with this option for a simple solution in the meantime! :))

James, I would love to help you get a Micro Minnie. The only models in the micro minnie lineup that they have with murphy beds also have a slideout on them. We have a full service department here at Bill Thomas Camper Sales. If you want any customizations, we can do it for you here. Thank you! Winnebago does not offer an oven for this model any longer, but the space is the same if needed to convert. ( they figure most people don't use the oven, and would prefer the space, that is why it was changed recently).

@@carilynjurgeson6178 Your local dealer should be able to do this, but you would have to confirm with them. I remember talking to the rep when they first made this decision, and I had a few customers wanting an oven, and were upset about the change. I was told that the spot is the same size, so it should be do-able. I do remember the price to do it was up there, so be prepared. I hope this helps! Technically, for time/money your RV dealer should be able to assist with lots of customizations, but you would have to confirm with them. If not, idk where you live, but our service department rocks! Also, on a side note, just in case, they sell these Air fryer/toaster oven at Sams club for under $200 and they flip up and only take up as much space as a toaster in width! Its my favorite gadget for cooking! Its by Ninja. Best of luck!!!!

Hi Christine, I do not know if that would work. Personally, I think it would be too thick to work. I would call in to talk to Winnebago's Parts Dept. though to ask them to see if it would work. This is an RV QUEEN Bed ( not standard sizing) for the murphy beds only. The measurements are 54x74 on the murphy bed

@@KDOGLIFE IMO: If your tow cap is 5K lbs personally it may be a bit too close, but I have had people that swear they can do it as well. Personal preference and dealer regulations also may play a factor in this as well. If you pack extremely light and travel with empty tanks and have a weight distribution hitch yes it is doable, but know you are going to be maxing your tow vehicle out. I would recommend looking into the GEO PRO lineup that we can order you here on the lot, they are all lighter weight (3,200lbs-3,400lbs mostly) that would make it much easier on your tow vehicle. www.btcamper.com

The new 2021 has a larger sofa in the slideout. Someone just put a 2020 sofa in that unit. If I had to pay as much as they charge now for these I wouldn't want a leftover sofa from an older model.

I no longer sell these, but that is a factory sofa. They do now have 3 options for the dinette ( jackknife, EZ Glide sofa or the Dinette and Table ) and the Micro Minnie's have been changing a lot the last year. ( some models have all the changes, some don't, just depends when they were built. this particular one was one of the first batches, before the sofa options were available :)). ) Thanks for watching!

Paul, They have switched over to the: Dexter Torsion Axles - non-adjustable. 5,000lbs GVWR This was done for a few reasons: -Amount of weight an average person puts in the Micro Minnie campers is around 400lbs. -People were overloading their campers, and throwing all kinds of stuff in them, and it was becoming a safety hazard on the roads. -The Dexter Axles are more cost effective, people were not using the adjustable axles, and they cost a lot more, so it made sense to switch to the DEXTER with the amount of average weight being carried in the Micros and for the customers/people on roads overall safety. -Also, with more cost effective axles, there was more room for other changes to be made, and not have a huge overall price increase. You still have a convection microwave. Most owners were not using the microwave and wanted the storage. However, a local service dept. can install an oven if needed. The drawer is the same size as the oven size.

@@CiarraB- I took that 860 off your shot of the yellow CCC tag on the trailer. Check with your techs at the dealership or better yet the Winnebago Rep. I looked up this model on the Winnebago web site and subtracting the dry weight from the GVWR it comes out to 2860 lbs which would make more sense for a 22' dual axle rig. A full tank of water would be around 300 lbs. clothes, food, gear, tools etc would et up the remaining 560 lbs really fast! I enjoy watching you videos, keep up the good work!
