Check out how to read and use Stops and Icebergs transactions, and potentially trapped volume that leads to the next Stop Run.

What does the numbers mean? Are they showing the "number of contracts" or the "number of Orders"?

If there is a stop run that pushed price higher, should we trust that volume less (give it less significance) than if it was pure new buy pressure ?

It really depends on what happens after the event (stop run). Perhaps new buying enters and price accepts higher in a new trading zone. If price rejects after the stop run, then it typically trades back to into the previous range and value area.
