I was here!! It was absolutely fantastic! Best gig I’ve ever been to, and a dream come true to see them perform live! Long live the Rolling Stones! ✌️&❤️ It blows my mind that I, as a then 21 year old, can see one of the biggest bands in the world back from the 60s in 2022! It’s amazing how they perform like the young guys :)

Silly question, but is that a real tree? If so, if must be centuries old.
@seaworthysloth2375 Жыл бұрын
@@mariellengiordano9884 I don’t believe it was real, i think it’s just a funky stage design for the BST Hyde park gigs as far as I know. I’d have thought that they couldn’t incorporate it otherwise as it might damage, as you correctly say, at tree that would be centuries old if it was real :)

I go back to the youtube of this, at least 2-3 times a week. I put my headphones on, cellphone is off, and I just enjoy their music. You are blessed to see them at such a young age... I'm probably your Gram's age...and always loved them. Keep their music alive!!

Just amazing to see them still rocking at almost 80, even if I miss the special touch of Charlie on drums... Of course, they have a little less energy than decades ago (in my opinion, their best tour ever was the Steel wheels/Urban jungle tour 1989/1990 when they had the experience + still youth energy). But even now in 2022, they are still the Best band on earth... We are talking about the Stones.. TRUE LEGENDS... Best Band... EVER.

This is their third Hyde Park show! They first played at Hype Park over 50 years ago, then recently and now. Maybe it will become an annual show. Thanks to whoever shared this show! I can’t travel to London sadly and I will never see a show there. I also wanted to visit Abbey Road Studio and Beatles sites but I can’t go now. KZbin is all I have now. I really admire the old British Stiff upper lip attitude Brits have. They just keep going despite any obstacles! It’s to be admired. After all they colonized the world 🌎 at one time. I would never sail the Seas and explore the World 🌎 like that. It took fortitude to get into one of those Sailing ⛵️ Ships going into the unknown back then. Because the Atlantic is a vast Ocean 🌊 with huge waves. 🌊 I know this because I once travelled by Ship 🛳 over the Atlantic for 5 days on the SS France 🇫🇷 Ship 🛳 years ago. And it was scary at times when the Ship 🛳 would rock back and forth while we were eating in the dining room. It was unsettling and looking out over the vast Ocean with those huge Waves 🌊 crashing really spooked me at the time. It was no joke. But I digress, I’m not the pioneering explorer type. Anyway, thanks for the great Show! 👏🏻😎🎸

62 years in Rock n Roll? That’s got to be some kind of record! Unreal they have lasted this long! Although they have lost members along the way. Now most notably Charlie Watts who was their drummer for 60 years. Which has to be another record! Only Macca and Daltrey and Townsend have lasted this long. Amazing! 👏🏻🎸😎
@n1thmusic2292 жыл бұрын
Actually it's only 60 and Watts lasted 58. Macca however has been going for 65 years.

@@dynjarren8355 Alright man, well done. Also did you know Watts was actually the stones' third drummer, they burned through 2 in less than a year before getting him.
@dynjarren83552 жыл бұрын
@@n1thmusic229 I actually didn’t know that detail. But he was a steady performer for 58 years so I’d say he worked out well. I always liked him and his droll or dry British humor. I always liked Watts for being real and admired his playing! He would occasionally take Jagger down a peg or two! That was amusing. It’s like he was saying you’re not all that! He tried to keep him grounded and not living in fantasy land. Although if anyone lived a fantasy life turned into reality it’s Jagger! I always say if he isn’t satisfied by now, no one is or will ever be! I mean, 9 children by 5 women and countless liaisons over 50 plus years. If I sound jealous or envious it’s because I damn well am! 😖🤣 They say a person is only as loyal as their options. And he’s had tons of options! I sure didn’t. 👎🏻😖
