Great safe relaxed driving. Which one you think better on the track, Mazda Miata or this Hyundai? Did you turn the rev match on or off?

Thanks for the comment! The Hyundai is definitely more built for the track - or maybe I'm just more comfortable with FWD cars on track. Mazda is really at home for driving on twisty roads, and not so much for chasing lap times - the standard suspension is really made for canyon carving and flowing through turns. Perhaps if I put a stiffer/sportier suspension in the Mazda then it would be more suited for the track but I don't want to modify it. The Hyundai, like my former Mini Cooper S, are stiffer and more suited for the track - and both of those want to be thrown into corners and hooned around! On the Hyundai I have rev matching on, and I wish the Mazda had it - I'm no good at heel-toe rev matching :(

​@@gorankrajnovic I started driving from 1986, I still don't do heel-toe, I grew up with Fiat 500, Volkswagen Beetle, Morris Minor, Citroen. I do enjoy driving Mazda Miata through curvy mountain road, and just like you, I am not a speed racer.

I know, I'm just an amateur driver, and I'm not there to chase lap times. It's the drive that is the fun, not the lap time.

@@MercedesA45s-v7u Thanks, but I drive at a level I feel safe and comfortable with. I'm sure I could squeeze more out of the car taking more risks, but I have no motivation to take those risks.

@@gorankrajnovic People always seem to forget, there's no insurance on track. Would be very easy to push it just a little too much and write off the car. No fun.
