i had an 18 inch gash along the edge of my 2016 stormrider 88s and i brought them in and you guys fixed them... i was worried that i was going to have to dig a shallow grave... thank you and i love those skis for hardpack and groomers...

I’m confused between the Brahma 88, enforcer 88 and Kendo 88. I’m also confused about what length to get. I am 207lbs and 5-11 height. I like to Vail Breck big sky. I usually ski groomed blacks and double blacks with a sizable mix of Moguls. I do pick up higher speeds of around 50-55 mph. I never go back country or super deep ungroomed stuff. Would love to get your recommendation for me and rank them 1,2,3 for Me

Howdy! Honestly, all great skis for your use. They'll be plenty stable and supportive for carving hard and skiing at those speeds. I'm not sure if I can do a 1,2,3, so I'll put it this way: Most manuverable: Kendo 88. The 3D Sidecut Radius really helps this ski feel more manuverable at slower speeds and will be more quick in the bumps. It's also the most energetic of the bunch (and my personal favorite for those reasons). Most versatile: Enforcer 88. This one can carve hard and feel quick in the bumps. I don't find it as punishing in the back seat as the Brahma, but it can still hit those speeds and charge hard while being a notch more forgiving. Most stable carver/chargiest: Brahma 88. This one has the most traditional mount point and shape of the bunch, and I find it to feel like a more traditional carver in a wider package. This might be a little punishing if you slide into the backseat, but if you can stay on those shovels, it will reward you! Hope that helps!

How about an "old" Brahma 88 from 2016 in 180cm versus a new Stöckli Montero AR 170cm? I'm 171cm btw and also have a new Stöckli laser gs 170 and a blizzard src 160 (used to have an atomic fis sl 165). Goal: replacing the Brahma with a comparable ski for more allmountain use, I guess.

The Brahma is more all-mountain oriented (shape, rocker) than the Montero or those other Laser skis. Those Stocklis are more "all-mountain carvers" and recreational race skis. They'll all be awesome on groomers, bumps, etc., but a ski like the Brahma (which is also wider at 88mm) is more versatile for true all-mountain skiing. More similar skis to the Brahma 88 would be models like the Stockli Stormrider 88, Volkl Kendo 88, Nordica Enforcer 88, and Fischer Ranger 90.

@@powder7skis thx! So if I would want/need sth between the Stöckli laser GS and the Brahma, the Montero AR shouldn't be that bad, right. Because I think and hope these are better on icy slopes in the morning for example then the Brahma's.

@@spurtbom81 I think you're spot on! The Montero AR is meant to bridge the gap between all-mountain and carvers, with better grip and bite on firm snow in the morning, with plenty of capability to go off trail.

@@spurtbom81 Yeah, the Montero is shaped/built to grip better than the Brahma carving on early morning firm snow. It's then more versatile and a bit less demanding than the Laser GS.
