2022-2023 Gaudium et Spes Award Honoree: Mother Agnes Mary Donovan, S.V.

Mother Agnes Mary Donovan, S.V., was a professor at Columbus University when she answered the call to join the Sisters of Life. Since then, she has built solid foundations for the Institute as its first Mother Superior and transformed the pro-life culture in the United States, raising new leaders for the cause. As a great witness of joy and hope, Mother has demonstrated that the ultimate answer to abortion is love. Congratulations to Mother Agnes, the 2022-2023 Gaudium et Spes Award Honoree!

I had the great surprise to run into Sr. Agnes this afternoon on the Feast of the Assumption of Our Blessed Mother. Seeing Sr Agnes is like a visit with an angelic being…she radiates joy and life! I am praying for her as she continues her journey through the vocation and charism of life that has given so much to so many. These sisters are in my daily prayers. They are all such a beautiful witness to life and love in a city that needs this encounter desperately. Thank you, Sr. Agnes! May God continue to guide you and bless on your continuing journey walking with Him. ❤🙏🏻
