Hey Jerry great video! We pick up our gently used ZST Excite tomorrow ❤ just a hint - you don’t have to manually press the electric park break when you take off, if you put it in gear and accelerate the brake will release automatically 😊

Jerry, can I please ask your opinion on the ZST 1.5 liter with CVT in comparison to the 1.3 litre turbo with 6 Speed Auto? Thanks

Hey Raymond, it comes down to the power you need. 1.3 Turbo gets you more power if you pay more. 1.5 CVT is smooth but offers less power. It is your personal choice really.

@@JerryPanandCars thanks for the response Jerry. Drive the Excite, and was very impressed. The dealer was doing deals on 22 stock, and they only had Excites and 1 Essence, so purchased and Excite. It appears the 1.5litre with CVT is better on fuel, but as I was very happy with the Excite I went with it.

@@raymondmumford6255the compromise is 1.5 you can pump 91 1.3 you pump 95 minimum. Personally I am not someone who needs the power so 1.5 was my choice.

I saw that when you were turning car at first few times, the infotainment system had camera automatically turned on and off. How does this work, does the camera gets on everytime you make a turn or is it only at the begining of the drive.

That is a feature with the 360 camera. It will switch on the side camera if you indicate at low speed. You can turn this feature on and off.

The auto dimming is your headlights set at auto not off. I have found if insufficient light it will turn on high beams and if a car comes along it will dim down.

Hi, I just own my mg zst few days Ago..I love it.the problem was sometime I felt the fidel so heavy or weak when driving up hill. Or after stopping in traffic light.

Do you know whether MG has pushed out a new software whether Videos can't be played? I have followed the steps from Engineering mode, but still Video's can't be played. Any workaround you can think of ?

T badge is locally sourced and put on by some dealers. These cars are called MG ZS in other regions.

Switch the screen using steering arrow buttons. but if you turn the lane assist on, it will automatically go to the assistance screen

Hi In your video you said you can use 91 fuel but in another video I watched for the core zst they showed the fuel cap which says unleaded 95 and up so I'm now confused

Hi Kristy, As mentioned in the top comment in that video. "Please note that by 10th October 2021, MG NZ has confirmed that the fuel recommendation for MG ZST Core / ZST Vibe 1.5L is 91 or above (no longer 95 or above as mentioned in the video)".

Here is an update now I don't want to scare you but my car is only 6 weeks old I am from the uk. It's done only 178 miles fromb rand new and the auto lights and windowipers are not working the lights never turn off I have to turn the indicated arm up to off from auto but it comes back on as the lights are on in the day and night. the. Wipers they don't have auto at the moment I took the car in today and was told it's a common problem so why don't they sort it out?. Common mg get your act together. It's not even 2 months old and it's got a problem thought I would just tell you all.

Some NZ cars have had similar issues related to a software update. MG NZ fixed that really quick after the update.
