Congratulations to the two of you!! Going to have to rethink that fuel cell location with needing additional seating!

😂 hahaha the thought crossed my head but I think at this point I’m set on this build and we’ll take the baby in the JL or the new Jeep in the future or he’ll ride shot gun in the YJ once I find a car seat that fits in the PRPs lol. Thank you!! 🍻

Thank you brother!! Lauren and I were actually looking them up to fit in the PRP’s. My dad had me in a car seat in his dune buggy so I can’t wait to do that with my son also.

Awesome man! Get that surface rust off so it doesn’t get under the floor in between the floor supports and the sheet metal. If you finish weld with it in between there it will continue to rust. But the Jeep is looking good man!
@altered_life2 жыл бұрын
Yep I have plans on taking care of the rust before even finish welding the bottom, then it’ll be primed, seam sealed, and under coated. You’re correct though I definitely don’t want to let it get trapped. Thank you for the kind words 🤘🏼

Congrats again man! Kids are the absolute best. Truly a blessing. Make sure to add a rear bench seat to your build list. You got some time before your son will be out wheeling with ya LOL but time goes extra fast with kids. Anyways ya got some good goals for this year…..now go do work!

Thank you Mike!! I’m so excited, after talking with you and how much you love to get your daughter involved, I’m pumped to do that as well. Definitely got to get to work! Thanks again buddy!

Dude I know its hard but get out there and plug away! its hard when its cold I know, but that thing is gonna be way cooler than my YJ when its done. Im strugglin right now to spend time outside to finish my hydro assist
@altered_life2 жыл бұрын
Hahah I don’t know about way cooler, our builds will be cool in their own ways. You’re right though, some days it is hard to get out there but I’m definitely trying as much as I can. Good luck with the steering, that’s something I’m not totally looking forward to 😂 thanks for watching buddy 🤙🏼🍻

How many inches did you stretch the front axle forwards on your YJ? And how did you achieve that stretch?
@altered_life3 жыл бұрын
I want to say the front is stretched around 2-3 inches. I achieved that by doing the reverse shackle kit as well as off set spring perches and top plates. Wish I could have gotten more stretch but leafs definitely limit it.

Congratulations on your baby boy!!! I was wondering on your dogs... what breed are they?
@altered_life2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Chris! We are very excited! as for the dogs, Luna is a Australian Shepherd/border collie mix, Juniper is a pure border collie, and Samantha is a German shepherd/ Australian Shepherd mix.
