Thank you very much for your kind words. I make one of these videos ever year and I love doing them. Making the templates can be a little work, but thankfully everything else runs really smoothly. I'd definitely recommend doing one of these videos from time to time. They're a lot of fun. I'm glad you agreed with my voting for Anohana. It's a great show, isn't it? I really wanted to give my Top Award to Occultic;Nine, because it was totally my sort of show... but I couldn't ignore Anohana. It was just too good.

High effort video! Thank you for taking time to put this together and share with us, even though we talk about shows throughout the year I'm always surprised by some of your final decisions. Best film: Gantz O - 10/10 Best mascot: Tobimaru, Sword of the Stranger - hero! Best male: Itadori, Jujutsu Kaisen - such a likeable protag and nice person and doesn't know how badass he is Best female: Rory, Gate - struggled with this bc there have been a few good ones, every female character in JJK is amazing but Rory had the most character development Worst character: Kei Kishimoto, Gantz- this character had me pulling my hair out and yelling at the screen more than any other. Zero common sense or incentive Worst anime: Deadman Wonderland - 4/10, nonsensical plot and ridiculous characters Best anime: Jujutsu Kaisen - everything I could possibly want in a show with fantastic, realistic characters and great action sequences (I scored Darling in the Franxx the same but it misses the top spot due to treating its female characters the exact opposite way)

I'm in agreement with Sword of the Stranger as best movie and I forgot they had a cat in Castle Town Dandelion. I knew Deadman Wonderland would be your pick for worst anime as soon as I saw both the lead characters nominated for worst character. Not every year two nominees for that category come from the same show, huh? I remember dropping Deadman Wonderland halfway because it just wasn't my breed of horror. If you'd like to see an anime about a secluded facility where accumulating points is a major part of peoples' lives actually done well, I highly reccomend Classroom of the Elite :) How did Shiro end up in the worst characters been though??? True I have a soft spot for crazies, but she was the one reason I stuck with that anime as long as I did lol! Also I gotta agree, Anaru was a likable one ^_^ I would do some year end thing, except this is a year I came back from a year long vacation from youtube, soooo... I don't feel like I should this time XD Shikimori would easily get the prize for best romance for it's warmth and logic, Kaguya S3 would get the prize for best comedy as it is even willing to hurt it's romance for the sake of master class comedy. I'd need some time to think about best characters though ^^;

Sword of the Stranger was great,b ut it's victory was a bit of a walk in the park due to lack of competition. I enjoyed Batman Ninja and Highlander... but they were average at best. The cat in Castle Town Dandelion was a pretty small part, so he never stood a chance against Tobimaru or the legend that is Babu! haha. I think for last year's Worst Character award I actually nominated half of the cast of Gundam Z. I enjoyed the show, but 50% of the cast were terrible. So sometimes nominees do come from the same place. I do try and spread out the hate though. Yeah, everyone I know seems to like Shiro from Deadman Wonderland. I don't get it personally. The childish personality trope just doesn't work for me. She kind of reminds me of the main girls from A Lull in the Sea and Anohana now I think of it. So I definitely have a sort of character that I don't like haha. Also... I didn't like the english dub casting for her Or Ganta.

I gotcha, kiddish behavior isn't everyone's thing ^_^ Hmmm... maybe if my vtuber model isn't done by the time I'm done with Maid-Sama, I could do a 'most notable anime since I started reviewing', something like that? It's been long enough that I'm not sure about that. It's different from others, but I wouldn't blame you if Netoge no Yome doesn't get a place in next year's oscars ^^

@@Michael_Matsuzaka Sorry for the slow reply. I've been having A LOT of migraines this year. So I haven't vbeen able to get anywhere near my PC... or even watch any anime! 😢 Well if you do your own awards, or how you choose to do them, is all up to you. I just like suggesting the idea, because I like to see what people are choosing, and I think they are fun videos to make. It would also be interested to see what you do differently to me in ways of format. How is the Vtuber model coming along? any closer to debut? Well I'll be honest, Netoge no Yome isn't super high on my list of shows to watch this year. But I did sign up to Funimation this month and it is on there. So I have added it to my watch list. So who knows... I may get to it by the end of the year! I have some big hitters to deal with first though! 🙂

My artist is on the rigging process and the wait is making me crazy (I've conceptualized like ten character songs for Michael Matsuzaka lol). If it ain't done by the time I've reviewed Kaichou wa Maid Sama, we'll have a most notable anime :) That's understandable :)
