I remember the excitement of hiking NOBO from Old Orchard Shelter and the excitement seeing Hawk, Katie and Mr. PR coming up the trail. What an awesome day! Hawk is the most gracious hiker we have met on the trial. Happy Trails🏕️

Hey Craig (and Katie) Thanks for the tip on cubing Spam Singles INSIDE of the package using a stick. It was great seeing y'all at Mountain Crossings when I passed through last month! I'm in Gatlinburg tonight, unexpectedly, due to a calf muscle sprain or tear in my left calf that occurred about 40 yards short of Newfound Gap. I was planning on going on, and weighing the options, when a woman and her adult son, who were there to climb Mt. Leconte, asked me if I would like a ride into Gatlinburg. Considering this to be divine intervention, I accepted, and am resting, warm and reasonably comfortably, at a hotel there. I hope to be back up on the mountaintops tomorrow to finish the Smokies like I started them, in the rain. Tonight, I am spared the cold and wind that we had up there for the last few nights. God bless you, Katie, and PR. Y'all are a BIG support team for all of us who are blessed to have been able to spend time with y'all. Tinker '23. ✌️💪👊🙏
