Have a chance to drive this for an extended period with my own older 8V A3 being in service. This new 8Y A3 is VERY fuel efficient and smooth, if not as punchy as my older A3 in terms of power.

There is a light, but his camera isn't picking it up in the dark. You can see the glare reflect off the cover latch here 1:14

Not going to get this level of luxury and refinement, not to mention the stellar fuel economy. This should really be compared to a VW Jetta, as both target the person looking for a commuter economical A to B car, just that the A3 adds a little bit of fun.

there's a lot of other lights and reflections from the rain that makes it hard to see, if this has the matrix LED headlights they are amazing at night, we have them on our Audi. audi usually does headlights properly, so don't be discouraged by this video probably just not the best environment to show them off.

It's the camera. It's exposed for the interior lighting. So it's darker outside.
