Beautiful spec. I bought mine for the timeless looks, quality, speed and 5cyl sound. Plus it's rare in the US - Instant classic as you said. Perfect car if you don't have kids, or more than 1 friend. 😀

If you're looking for something bigger then you could always try the RS3 or RSQ3... They also have the same 5 cylinder engine and can be specced in the Kyalami Green colour💚🤷♂️
@davidoliu2 жыл бұрын
Of course. RS3 was only launched around mid September and waiting list is 8-12 months. Test drove the car and although it was good, I wasn’t going to wait that long to replace the TTRS. RSQ3 ride is too harsh so never considered it

I am thinking of getting a 2021 TTS for my next car how was your experience with it as a daily I know you touched on the subject but I was just wondering if there were any things you disliked about it as a daily other than the back seats?
@davidoliu8 ай бұрын
It’s a sport car and has all the quirks of one, such as stiffer ride, small trunk, seating space etc however that all depends on your daily requirements . If I was single that probably wouldn’t even be noticeable. TT’s are probably the most practical of the lots in comparison. However, one thing that was cool but also troublesome was the single screen which becomes a real issue when you need to rely on the camera when reversing or if the steering is not left in the middle, obstructing the view to the screen.
@rnzler78818 ай бұрын
@@davidoliu thanks for the reply. I am a senior in highschool so I don't really have a major concern about seating space. Did you ever do any road trips in it I was wondering how comfortable it was to drive for a long time or if the stiff ride got a little to uncomfortable. and did you find any other problems with haveing the screen be so limited or was it ok for daily use?
@davidoliu8 ай бұрын
@@rnzler7881TT is by far one of the most comfortable sportcars for the long haul, if rear space is not an issue for you. Make sure you get one with the Magnetic ride and the suspension is very supple in the comfort setting. The single screen is not a problem once you learn to deal with it. Just know that it is a sport car and there are some quirks like all others. Honestly, if you can afford one at your age, get the TTRS, you won’t regret it

What was the visibility like? My hearing sucks sry
@davidoliu Жыл бұрын
The visibility out was good front and back. C-pillar obscures blind spot a bit but side assist dealt with that. Seating position also had wide range of adjustment so never felt impaired in anyway. Still feel sad that I don’t have it anymore but grateful for the ownership experience.

I have the exact same but 2021. Really is meant to compare to a 2 door sports car( porshe 718 etc). Any family type use will leave you disappointed...get a 4dr M3 or the new rs3

It’s stock standard height. Perhaps it’s because the drive way slops slightly towards the front and the black side skirt gives the impression that it sits higher.
