Does the system come preloaded with ride settings for surf or wake? Can custom ride settings be saved and accessed by the touch of a button?

No preloaded settings or ballast sensors. The ballast is on timers only and Malibu has no intentions at this time of adding quick presets on Axis boats. I have a video going over this if you wanna learn more or shoot Inland boat company call to discuss.
