Super sick setup bro. I really like the content. I recently started cutting my own hair. Literally just got my matte black Babyliss clippers, trimmers, and shaver yesterday. So much more that I need lol. Really excited though. By the time my son goes to school hopefully I’ll be a pro lol. Im gonna do my first fade on my self this weekend. Wish me luck homie!

Turning my living room into my barber space. Great space and hard wood floors. So excited to get started, looking for clients by giving away free cuts. Awesome set up you have by the way.

Love the video but me personally could not do the barber/gaming set up 😅 I’m too much of a clean freak and know that there’s always others people hair lurking around
@getfaded28012 жыл бұрын
I'm the same way but I'm a clean freak so I make sure everything is 100% cleaned up. plus, the position I cut hair my client's hair only falls where my barber set up it

Do you wash your stuff before they go into barbicide? Putting tools full of hair into the jar will only contaminate it. Soap and warm water scrub before they get placed in there allows you to get the most out of product and proper sanitation
@getfaded28012 жыл бұрын
Yes, Prior to Putting anything in barbicide i wash my guards and combs with soap and warm water then I place them into my barbicide, I also have other steps I do once I take them out to re-use them. I am all about being clean and safe for clients

When you get full on the razor container your actually supposed to take it to the hospital or a local clinic because if you throw it in the trash can you’ll cut somebody whether a homeless man or a waste worker so please do not throw them in the trash

yeah, I am in the process of house shopping and the space is honestly not that bad, but I can go for some more space lol, and yes, the room is carpet itself, but I placed a carpet over it to protect the actual floor itself, so I only have to vacuum the rug I threw over the floor

Hey bro did you go to barber school? And how did you get your clientele ? I’m starting barber school in January
@getfaded28012 жыл бұрын
No I have not gone to barber school yet. I am currently going to plumbing school to get my plumbing license once I’m finished with that I will be heading to barber school. I first started cutting my little brothers hair then it turned into cutting my whole family then my family’s friends and all of my friends basically word to mouth but I advertise a lot. Best way to get a lot of clients is if you start cutting in middle school/ high school cause then everyone will start hitting you up for cuts ever after you graduate. Best of luck with your school boss

The magic clip or senior is good
@getfaded2801 Жыл бұрын
So it all depends on your price point if you are starting off get what you can afford, you always have to start of somewhere, I recommend the wahl seniors or wahl magic clips very good clippers to start off. Highly recommend to look at the links I posted so you can buy clippers on the barber plugs website

When do you apply the cherry alcohol?
@getfaded2801 Жыл бұрын
The cherry alcohol, you pour just a little in your spray bottle with water, the more cherry alcohol you add the stronger the smell I recommend just a small amount and fill the rest with water, it’s basically just a regular spray water bottle used to wet the hair but basically just makes it smell good 👍

@getfaded28012 жыл бұрын
honestly the distance between the gaming set up and barber station is a good amount of space to where I don't get hair on any of my gaming set up, also the way I have the barber chair set up my client's hair falls only where my barber station is, I'm also a clean freak so I'm always making sure nothing is dirty lol

@getfaded28012 жыл бұрын
At the moment I have 2 old clippers. And it does not really matter the brand or the cost get what you can afford and keep working on your craft. It’s all trial and error do a lot of studying even watching tutorials on KZbin. Once you are at a point with cutting hair to where it’s like clock work it does not matter the clippers or the tools you have. In other KZbin videos barbers use Walmart clippers that are dirt cheap and are still able to give crazy good fades. work on your craft save your money and then upgrade we all start somewhere. I do highly recommend when buying new gear make sure you do your research first
