I really appreciate these informative snapshots of brands you carry. A major barrier preventing me from investing in an e-bike is bike theft here in Seattle. I even stopped riding my full size commuter due to this concern and only use my Brompton because I can bring it in with me. I would be interested to hear about your thoughts on any new developments in bike theft prevention.

Glad to hear that you're liking these videos. I don't have any bike-specific theft prevention systems to recommend. I am visiting Eurobike next week, so that might change! I'll be making videos about the cool stuff I find there, and I'm sure there will be plenty of cool anti-theft tech. We have sold lots of ebikes to Seattleites over the last few years, and very few of our customers' bikes have been stolen. Most of our customers choose one or TWO of the highest-rated ABUS chain and u-locks. Many of our customers are now hiding Apple AirTags inside their frames and/or adding "bike protected by GPS" stickers. The two situations where we've seen the most bikes stolen -- unlocked in a "secure bike room" at work or unlocked in a garage.
