The gearing seems quite short - I know it’s limited to 260 kph (indicated) but at that speed RPMs are more then 5500 - Is there an extra gear ?

I think there are two extra gears. If I counted correctly he was doing 260kmh at 5.8k rpm in 6th gear. It has 8speed zf gearbox.
