If only it had idrive 7 not 6 it be a buy for me. Guess waiting 1 more year for the 2023 M35i to incorporate all digital dash.

It's still using ixrive 6 which can't be upgraded, no blindspot detection, even as an option which is weird. BMW loves overpricing options which are standard on most cars. The torque steer is atrocious, It's a parts-bin car. BMW needed to unload their shelves. The electronics on this car are at least 1 gen behind the rest of BMW's offerings. The exhaust sound is artificial and is piped into the cabin. Go boy racer.

You’re paying for the name and the fact that it’s a “luxury” hatch or suv whatever you want to call it. A large part of the cost of BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and other brands is the prestige behind the brand. They are a status symbol. “Oh look he’s driving a BMW he must have money!” People love to be admired. 🤷🏼‍♂️
