Hello! I know this is off topic, but you're in my area and I noticed your window tint.. did you tint your front windows only to match the rears or were all of them done together? I'm looking to tint my M40i soon as well. What company did your tinting? Thanks!

Hi, yes I just tinted the two front side windows to match. They recommended to tint all but I think the factory tint is ok. I went to tint haus customs. They have great reviews but my experience was average. It took them forever to tint the two windows because their blade was having issues and on the passenger side where the blade cut the tint it’s not even as it toon a tiny piece out. Not terrible but it’s there when you roll the window down.

Did you happen to get a Check Engine light come up at all after flashing?

No CEL, I am not sure if a transmission tune can cause a CEL.

Привет, у меня x4 m40i 23 думаю поставить downpipe VRSF , но я знаю что будет CEL. Какие у тебя планы на машину в будущем?

You can go catted downpipe and it won’t give you a CEL. I want to make the car handle better and be more stiff around the corners. After that I will add more power. For now I am pretty happy with the power. The transmission tune was more of how it delivers the power.

Hi, yes you just have to get the right map pack but my understanding is the transmission software has not changed much through the years.

Thor OBD II dongle, xHP tune plus map pack. Then you need to get the xHP app.

Какво мислиш, заслужава ли си да си загубиш гаранцията на скоростната кутия заради този тунинг? Аз все още не мога да се реша. Ама ако тунинговаш кутията, направо започвай работа по двигателя. Ниво 1 или 2 ECU тунинг . Така и така нямаш гаранция повече. :)

@@LifeofPandK Моята е 2024. И аз мисля да изчакам когато ще можеш да флашнеш ECU то от вкъщи през OBD2 порта. След това xHP стейдж 2 и MHD stage 2 с downpipe. Предполагам 1-2 години ще отнеме. А ти какъв път ще вземеш ако не е тайна?

Nadejdata mi e purvo da napravq da durji putq po dobte. Coils, wheels/tires, chassis bracing. Posle shte e downpipe I tune. I moje bi ako ina poveche support po golqmo turbo.

Honestly not sure I would stick with the Thor. You can try and see.
