I was thinking the same

Haha well spotted. Well there is no specific story as such. A close friend of mine got it for me recently. I had expressed how inspiring his performance has been and how a shirt of his would be really cool. And ever since the Worlds in 2011 I always thought he has been very inspiring :)

Hi David, what did you do to recover from your injury? I am having a similar back injury (slipped disc), my doctor told me to stop diving, lunge, and anything related to bending my back, or my disc will be damaged further. Should I still do it or listen to my doc?

Hmmm it is a difficult situation. I am no doctor or physio so I would definitely listen to what the people who knows about it says! What I did during my time when I was struggling with my back not being able to bend without pain was that I was getting treatment/manipulation by a physio and chiropractor. By their supervision I would slowly build up by doing stretches/mobility and increase the load. And then slowly things started getting better but it was a long process that required a lot of patience and care. I very much hope you will be able to find some people who can help you out and guide you in the right direction! Take care

@@DavidKim_DKim Thanks for your sharing, that helps a lot. I will take my time healing my injury then. Hope that you will climb up strongly in ranking this year.

Do you have any advice to get better? I‘m a little bit stuck

Hey Tim! Hmmm that is a dificult question to answer as I don't know why and how. But in general I would say find a couple of things to you want to improve at, whatever it may be, and ask your Coach to help guide you. Then take it step by step and keep working hard but smart!

Should we keep racket close or away while in defence position
@DavidKim_DKim2 жыл бұрын
I assume you mean from the body? Well it depends I would say. Whatever feels natural for you but elbow away from the body and being wide is always a good thing I would say when defending!
