Imagine having your 9 year old daughter with you from Estonia and halfway through the round officials say you have to find a supervisor for her in the crowd because she's too young to be there. That's kinda fucked to just throw that on her in the middle of a battle with Paige. Obviously the rules are rules but to threaten Tattar with a DQ because she brought her daughter over and wanted her to walk with her as a caddie is insane. Kristin didn't even have another caddie! Tattar deserved this win.

What a great final round with a great group of ladies. So nice to see a full card of players with amazing attitudes and amazing games. Such a fan of all four of these players. For real though, it's gotta be time for Paige's father to lay off the winning is everything stuff. She's already proven in most people's eyes that she is the best of all time. If that doesn't mean it's time to just enjoy playing I don't know what does. Parents should always emphasize happiness over success when it comes to their children. Just to be clear, “under stable”usually refers to a disc turning right from a rhbh throw. A disc is considered “stable” that goes straight, thus “overstable” refers to going left. Thus if a disc is unexpectedly flying from right to left it it is flying more toward “overstable” not stable, just using logic…any thoughts?

I'm dejected to read some of the unkind comments and mean name-calling in this comments section, giving so much harsh and uncalled for judgment - to a player who won, to a player who didn't win, and to a player who isn't even on this card. We can be ultra competitive (as sports calls for) and still be kind to each other. Paige's post-win conduct shows us this. Let's create a kinder, more welcoming disc golf community.

Nerves go to her I think, not just on the putts but throughout the 18th. May not have won anyway if she'd hit the second putt, but at least some pressure would have been applied to Paige. But there is no way to practice the gravity of the moment other than to experience it. Paige has been in so many she could stay looser. @@pierceguderski1120 she “discretely” texted someone on Kristins card informing them of the rules violation. If her intention was to “follow the rules” she should have informed the TD directly instead of trying to give someone a heads up so she could take care of the problem before a penalty was issued. That would be assisting someone in bending the rules. So there goes the “rule follower” approach. She used her side gig as announcer to play referee. Will she do the same for foot faults, shot clock violations and other rules? Will this apply only to cards on coverage? There’s a can of worms for you. She could have completely ignored it and said something to Kristin about it after the event since obviously Nobody was bother by it except her. @mattpagel6681 2 жыл бұрын
@@Eric-tp4de Yes preachy is the most politically correct term I could use. At some point she needs to realize she is a grown ass woman that was molded to be a champion by some tough love. Her dad knows that she is better than the efforts put forward in half ass attempts at anything in life. If she put her heart and soul out there in any situation and her dad saw that he would probably come at it in a different tone. I understand in the world today people think/expect participation trophies and congrats for half ass effort, but her father knew that she could be great and realized at a young age that she put her head down and busted her ass to get where she is today in spite of his beliefs/wording. She will come to a realization at some point that he was teaching her hard work and not settling for second best. So shake you head but it is time for her to grow up and become the strong individual he molded at a young age. She has earned the GOAT status in disc golf but as a individual it is time to for to become a successful adult. STOP blaming others and write the rest of the chapters to her story.

You're wrong, it shows compassion and sportsmanship over anything else. Again, you're completely wrong.

Kristin made a big mistake for not just laying up her 4th shot. Could have quaranteed a play off bu tinstead took a put that was way out of her league at that point. Fair play for giving it a run though.

Wasn't out of her league at all.. 35 footer to win the tournament nobody isn't running that, just unfortunately airballed high and landed on a root that caused a roll. 100 out of 100 times you try to make that putt and win the major though

She could have made that putt, the really sad part is it wasn't just the putt. Almost every shot on hole 18 was a bit off. The drive was the moment of truth. Wish she could have recovered, but it didn't happen.

What the hell are you talking about? Kristen is a great sport. You mean because she was crying at the end? Kristin has been nothing but a class act since day one. All four of those ladies are class acts.
